Bob Cheevers
This is a quick sketch I did at the Platform Tavern in Southampton, a fantastic blues music venue. Bob Cheevers, a wonderful musician, who was playing there last night, had such a drawable face. I did a similar sketch which I showed to him during his break. He loved it and asked me to give the sketch to him and sign it. I happily did so and then he brought over his CD which he then signed and gave to me! He showed the drawing to some people in the bar. This is a similar one that I did afterwards but it’s not quite as good I don’t think.

I’m the subject of Fiona’s sketch, and I’m honored to have been her focus on the nite she drew it on a scrap of paper at The Platform Tavern in Southhampton as I was playing my songs. I’ve seen more of her work particularly a series of paintings of herself which are breathtakingly gorgeous. She is a true artiste whose life has been a step by step process of realizing her talent and forging her way toward its frution. I’m honored to have been her subject on an august night in 2006.
