Another umbrella, re-skinned using bush-craft techniques and copper wire reclaimed from electricity cable. The copper leaves interesting marks on the once wet raw hide. The translucent cables dangling are insulin lines used for diabetes. Medical waste would take on a different meaning “After Day X. This one is more organic looking. I was inspired by the appearance of a jelly fish and its semi-translucent nature and form.

    Fiona! This make me want to begin to sing Mary Poppins songs! I love it so much! Don’t you think it looks as though it could be a part of the Mary Poppins production…West End or Broadway?
