Mafeo
This is some work from my Mafeo project that I’ve just done on my Art Foundation. Mafeo stands for making art from everyday objects. My object was a non slip rubber mat! I had to draw it for two weeks! I also made maquettes of the mat in order to depart from the original object. One of my maquettes was made from pasta which I then did a drawing of.

Hi Fiona,
Great to see all your photo’s on Flickr - you did so well with your rubber matting! Your work is amazing - I love ‘metamorphosis’, with the ants - genius! It must make you hallucinate after staring at that matting for so long!
Hope you’re enjoying it all, and that you have just as much fun with the ‘white’ project!
