Because it can be raw, honest, innocent, and playful. We sometimes forget the joy in making art when we are so focused on things like good reviews, making money, being perfect and all those typically adult issues. But really I feel the best art comes from the core of our being and that is from where children live.

Well, at least this is my way of seeing it!

Great Question! Maybe we should start asking it around blog sphere and see what happens! What do you think?

Of course I agree! There is something in innocence and youth that I feel is an avenue of creativity worth exploring.

One of the things that I love about going to an exhibition is that it, at best, gives me a new way of seeing. Even after I leave the museum or exhibition, I see the world in a new, refreshing way. I feel that part of the role of the artist is seeing the world in the way that we saw it when we were children. We get so distracted as adults and forget to see!
