This is an interpretation of a New Forest pony's jaw bone! I wanted it to look dark, bleak and lonely. It started off looking a little like a Rothko and turned into something a little like a Dali!

got to agree with you it does have a feeling off Dali about it. the shadow of the jaw bone and the recession give it a surreal quality

This one for some reason is not as appealing to me. Perhaps it's the muted reds in the top of the frame.
I like the minimilism and the reds and blues. You're main subject is difficult to recognize which leaves me feeling uncomfortable when I look a the painting. Perhaps that was your intention ;)
