This was my first ever commission. It was done for a friend who gave it to her friend Poppy as a wedding present. Apparently both Poppy and her husband cried when they saw it! This is why I have to paint. The fact that I can move people with my art means so much to me. The idea of using the poppy seeds as texture in the painting came to me in a dream and this was the first painting that I did it with.
