Fiona Long Art

This year the Art For Youth exhibition at the Mall Galleries celebrated it’s 20th Anniversary and made more money for UK Youth than ever. I was very pleased to sell three of the five paintings that I exhibited. Thank you to everyone who came and helped raise money for this wonderful charity.

Here are some snaps of me with my paintings at the Art For Youth exhibition at the prestigious Mall Galleries on The Mall in London.

I had a great time at the private view at college. It was an excellent exhibition and everyone put on a great show! It was great to see all our work displayed. My exciting news is that I was shortlisted for the Peter Stanley Memorial Award. I was one of the three that Simon Betts a course leader at Wimbledon College of Art talked about in his speech, having judged the prize. Thank you so much Simon! Amongst other things, he described my work as highly articulate and self assured. Congratulations to Thomas Lamb who was also shortlisted for his excellent paintings and to Katie Comerford who won the prize for her fantastic installation. What an amazing work!
